Alchemical Conversions[]

At this point, you should have a good amount of resources. If you don't have any diamond, you need to find some. You need a diamond pickaxe for the next project. You can either make a Transmutation Tablet or an Energy Condenser (perferred Transmutation Tablet), both of which are used for converting items through the use of Equivalent Exchange's EMC system. Most items have EMC's. Iron and other ores do not have an EMC in Technic 6.0.7, though.

Transmutation Tablet[]

Materials needed: A furnace, fuel, a Philosopher's Stone, a diamond pickaxe, 4 cobblestone, 4 obsidian

Firstly, if you decided to make an Energy Condenser, skip this. For the people that wanted a Transmutation Tablet, this item can convert any item into any 'known' item that it has encountered before, by teaching it to the tablet. To teach it to the tablet, simply place the desired item you would like to teach it into one of the slots on the left side and now the tablet knows it, and you can transmute items with an equal or lesser value to items it knows on the right side. If you noticed there is an EMC amount at the bottom of the tablet, that is the EMC, or "Value" of the item. Items can range in EMC from Cobblestone, 1, to an Alchemical Tome, 152,732,178 EMC. The first step towards making it is making sure that you have a furnace, some fuel for the furnace, and the Philosopher's Stone in your inventory. Smelt the cobblestone into stone, then use this recipe:

Your new Transmutation Tablet is now ready to be placed: set it down somewhere and use it as much as you like.

Energy Condenser[]

Materials needed: a diamond pickaxe, a Philosopher's Stone, 5 diamonds, 4 obsidian, 2 iron ingots, 2 cobblestone, 8 wooden planks, 1 of each covalence dust/(1 redstone, 1 coal, 1 charcoal, 8 cobblestone, 1 iron ingot, 1 diamond)

As you can see, the Energy Condenser is more expensive than the Transmutation Tablet. The Energy Condenser is better at making one of a certain item, although you must have one of that item to do so. The first step in making this is making sure you have the covalence dusts. If you do, you are set. If not, here are the recipes:

You should probably make a Divining Rod High next before anything else, since you can find diamond and tungsten ore so much easier than mining and hoping for the best.

Make sure you have smelted the cobblestone into stone and make a chest using the wooden planks. The recipe shown below needs it. This recipe is crucial in the creation of the Energy Condenser. It is also a useful item for storage.

Alchemical Chest

This is called an Alchemical Chest. It is an item with a lot more storage than a regular chest. It has an 8x13 storage area, as opposed to a large chest's 6x9 storage space. Use it for a ridiculously large amount of storage space, say, to store the stuff that comes from a very large Quarryor something of a similar nature that generates a large amount of items. This is the crafting recipe for the Energy Condenser:

Energy Condenser

You now can place your Energy Condenser and start converting items! This will make it easier to get more items.

Energy Collector[]

Materials needed: 6 Glowstone blocks, 1 Glass, 9 Diamonds, 1 Furnace

Although this item is very expensive looking it is well worth it in the end. It collects EMC from light over time and stores it in an internal buffer. The Collector can be upgraded with Dark and Red Matter. Which increases the buffer compacity DASFAFADFAFA> Redstone (64) -> Coal (128) -> Gunpowder (192) -> Glowstone Dust (384) -> Alchemical Coal (512) -> Blaze Powder (768) -> Glowstone Blocks (1,536) -> Mobius Fuel (2,048) -> Aeternalis Fuel (8,192) The other use is if you place it next to an Energy Condenser it will generate EMC for you so you dont have to place 1 million items into the large inventory to get one Diamond. This will (slowly) generate EMC into the Condenser to create items. There is a way to hook more that one to a collector but thats a bit more costly. For now you want to use the first use, so place it anywhere you have space and put a glowstone block or torch above it.

Energy Collector

If you have some spare materials you should make another Energy Collector to add next to your Energy Condenser.

Power Flower[]

After you have three energy collectors it is time for a energy relay. Energy relays act as a mediary between the condenser and collectors. This allows an relay to touch one side of the condenser and support 5 energy collectors. If every side of the condenser is covered by relays then the condenser goes from 6 collectors with no relays to 30 collectors with 6 relays. Relays do not generate energy on their own but act as a route for the power. Although for every side covered by a collector on a relay it will generate bonus EMC.
