Redstone Golden Chipset contains information about the BuildCraft mod.

A component of Gates, Redstone Chipsets are made by putting Redstone Dust and Gold on an Assembly Table.

They can also substitute Golden Gears in the recipe for Logistics Pipes, allowing you to use 75% less gold to craft your logistics pipes. Therefore, if you plan on using logistics pipes heavily, it is recommended that you invest in an Assembly Table, Laser, and an appropriate source of power, in order to reduce your gold expenditure.
