The Red Matter Axe is a powerful axe from Equivalent Exchange. It can be charged up with the 'V' key to break blocks faster. In addition, when the player right-clicks whilst weilding the Red Matter Axe, it will cut down all wood in the area at the price of one redstone per 6 wood. It consists of 3 Red Matter, a Dark Matter Axe, and a single unit of Dark Matter. Like all Red Matter tools, it cannot break.

It can also be used to make a Red Matter Katar along with a Red Matter Hoe, a Red Matter Axe, and a Red Matter Sword with an additional 5 Red Matter.

• The Red Matter tools are not enchantable.
