Red Alloy Ingot contains information about the RedPower mod.

Red Alloy is a soft, ductile, highly conductive metal. How conductive? 16 times the conductivity of regular redstone! While it's much too soft to make tools out of, it's easily made into wire. It is necessary for the creation of a variety of Redpower wires.

You can create Red Alloy Ingots by smelting four Redstone Dust and either one Copper ingot or one Iron ingot in an Alloy Furnace or a Blulectric Alloy Furnace:
