OD Scanner contains information about the Industrial Craft mod.

The OD scanner is used to locate ores below the player's postion. This scanner scans all blocks below the player inside a 5-block square, centered on the player. The OD scanner can also be inserted into a Miner to give it a mining area of 5x5, or can be crafted into a better, but more expensive and power hungry version, the OV scanner.
