A landmark, once powered by a redstone current, will project a beam of blue light, projected on all axis for 64 blocks. They are not affected by terrain. These lines can be used as guides for placing the next Landmarks.
Once multiple Landmarks are placed, they can be right-clicked. This will create a red beam between all connected landmarks. Any unconnected blue beams will disappear.
A machine placed next to any of the activated landmarks will cause the machine to start operating on the area signified by the Landmarks. The Landmarks then pop out of position, allowing them to be picked up.
IMPORTANT: Placing your Quarry block INSIDE the red lines will cause the machine to destroy itself as it attempts to build the frame. The machine must be placed on an outside block directly next to the landmark to safely create the desired quarry area.
They have an EMC of 932.
- Landmarks can be placed on glass blocks.
- When in Multiplayer, chunks not loaded in any area specified will cause Landmarks to glitch.
