|High-Speed Transition Track|
High-Speed Transition Rails are used when transitioning to or from High-Speed Rail. When a cart is traveling in the same direction as a powered Transition Rail, their speed is 'boosted' to High-Speed Rail levels. When traveling in the opposite direction to the rail's orientation (indicated by the redstone 'arrows' on its surface) carts will slow down to Standard Rail speed.
Transition Rails must be powered by a Redstone source in order to function properly, otherwise they act as ordinary track pieces. Placing these incorrectly (i.e. boosting toward Standard Rails) can lead to potentially fatal Rail accidents.
- High-Speed Booster Track - Similar to Transition Track and Powered Rails, but boosts to High-Speed in both directions while powered, and slows in both directions when unpowered.
