Copper Ingots are important in making brass and Red Alloy, which are used in the making of many RedPower items, including pneumatic tubes, and Red Alloy wires. Copper is also an important ingredient in Bluetricity machines.

Copper Ingots are also important in IC2, being a part of reactor components, and also being used for all of the copper cables and low tier devices.
