There are four different kinds of pipe wires. All of them transport signal of it's kind. All pipe wires will connect to only pipe wires of the same color. All pipe wires are crafted the same way, in the Assembly Table from redstone dust, an iron ingot and a dye of what color you want the pipe wire to be (red, yellow, blue, green). Pipe wires will not react to a redstone current, but to a signal emmiting from a Gate.
