Blast Furnaces are constructed devices which are needed to convert Iron into Steel for the manufacture of High-Speed Rails.
Like the Coke Oven, a Blast Furnace is built, rather than crafted. A Blast Furnace is made from Blast Furnace Brick, which is crafted by surrounding Magma Cream with Nether Brick and Soul Sand.
Once the player has a sufficient number of bricks, they must place them in a 3x3x4 rectangular prism, with the second and third rows hollow in the center, for a total of 34 bricks altogether. The bricks must not be touching anything else (except the ground on which they were built, or a wall) for the Furnace to properly 'assemble' itself. The player will know when the furnace is assembled properly, as a window will appear in the middle of the first row of bricks on each side of the cuboid.
WARNING: Incomplete Blast Furnaces periodically check to see if they are part of a complete Blast Furnace. Large quantities of Blast Furnace Brick can lead to lag, and so, it is recommended that Infernal Brick be used for decorative purposes, and not Blast-Furnace Brick.
It runs on Coal Coke or charcoal. It converts iron ingots into Steel Ingots.
